How do I reset my password?
Reset a forgotten password from the sign-in page, or change it while signed in.
If you're locked out (forgot your password)
- Go to Forgot password.
- Enter the email on your account and submit. For your security we always show the same "check your inbox" message, whether or not an account exists for that email.
- Open the reset link in that email and choose a new password.
- You'll be sent back to sign in — log in with your new password.
The reset link is single-use and expires. If it's stopped working, just request a fresh one from the forgot-password page.
If you're already signed in (just changing it)
- Open Settings → Security.
- In the Password card, enter your current password, then your new one twice.
- Click Update password.
Signed in with Google and never set a password? The Security tab shows a Set password form instead, so you can add email-and-password sign-in alongside Google.
