How do I change the currency displayed?

Pick the currency Pocketwatch uses to format every money value.

Pocketwatch shows every balance, transaction, and chart in a single display currency. You can switch it any time from your preferences.

  1. Open Settings → Preferences. (You can also reach Settings from your name at the bottom of the sidebar.)
  2. In the Currency dropdown, choose the currency you want.
  3. Click Save preferences. Every money value across the app re-formats right away.
This is a display setting only — it changes the currency symbol and number format, it does not convert your balances. A $1,000 balance shown as £1,000 is the same stored amount, just formatted differently. Pocketwatch doesn't apply exchange rates.

Don't see your currency?

The list covers the major two-decimal currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, CHF, CNY, INR, MXN, BRL, SGD, NOK, SEK, DKK, NZD, ZAR). Zero-decimal currencies like JPY and KRW are intentionally left out for now, because amounts are stored as integer cents and a zero-decimal currency would misread them. If yours is missing, let us know.
