How do I change the currency displayed?
Pick the currency Pocketwatch uses to format every money value.
Pocketwatch shows every balance, transaction, and chart in a single display currency. You can switch it any time from your preferences.
- Open Settings → Preferences. (You can also reach Settings from your name at the bottom of the sidebar.)
- In the Currency dropdown, choose the currency you want.
- Click Save preferences. Every money value across the app re-formats right away.
This is a display setting only — it changes the currency symbol and number format, it does not convert your balances. A $1,000 balance shown as £1,000 is the same stored amount, just formatted differently. Pocketwatch doesn't apply exchange rates.
Don't see your currency?
The list covers the major two-decimal currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, CHF, CNY, INR, MXN, BRL, SGD, NOK, SEK, DKK, NZD, ZAR). Zero-decimal currencies like JPY and KRW are intentionally left out for now, because amounts are stored as integer cents and a zero-decimal currency would misread them. If yours is missing, let us know.
