Support

What happens when I cancel my subscription?

See when access ends, whether a refund applies, and when a cancellation can be resumed.

Web subscriptions can be canceled from Account - Billing. Pocketwatch shows the exact access end date and server-calculated refund before you confirm.

Monthly web subscriptions

The subscription will not renew. You keep full access through the end of the paid monthly period, and no unused-time refund is issued. You can resume before access ends.

Annual web subscriptions

You keep access through the end of the annual membership month you have already begun. Pocketwatch refunds the remaining whole membership months, based on the amount actually paid for the current annual period. An annual cancellation cannot be resumed after that refund.

Trials, failed payments, and credit

  • A trial cancellation keeps access through the trial end and has no refund because nothing was paid.
  • A past-due subscription ends immediately because the new period was not paid.
  • Any refundable Stripe customer credit is returned separately when a web subscription is canceled.
App Store subscriptions are canceled and refunded under Apple's rules. Manage those subscriptions from your Apple ID subscription settings.
